Wonderful experience of skill-building, and community-building in a cultural affirming space. I am happy to know this space exists for the community..

Loved the time spent with Nichole in her perfect art space on Broadway! She had snacks and drinks ready for us when we arrived and we spent our time quickly learning about the process and then jumped in to start experimenting. Nichole was a great teacher and encouraged us to explore colors, layers, and textures. It was a lovely way to spend time with a friend while in a relaxing, creative environment. We would definitely do it again.

I have loved watching his technical skills improve and observing an increase in his confidence and focus. Most importantly I have seen in him a new passion for creativity and art-making. Nichole’s unique and compassionate understanding of kids of different ages and temperaments combined with her well crafted curriculum has provided an excellent learning experience for my son! I highly recommend Nichole’s classes!

Nichole has taught my son for the past two years and the creativity and variety of the art she has them create is amazing. Nichole teaches in a loving and positive way, has a great sense of humor, and takes the time to build a connection with each of her students. The materials, mediums, and projects she creates with our children are full of originality. I found myself constantly asking, “How did you do that?”

Nichole can engage every child's artistic side with her creativity and flexibility - even the youngest and most wild of kids will become enthralled with their art project(s) under Nichole's patient guidance. Our son was complaining about "too much art!" at preschool until Nichole helped him dress his body tracing in a hand-sewn Batman costume. He was smiling with pride when he showed me the completed project - and Nichole was too! Take advantage of any opportunity your child has to make art with Nichole - such a talented, committed artist comes along only so often. Thank you, Nichole, for a great year of paint! color! sculpture! glue! chalk! crayons! and a ton of fun.
